Stevens Gap Area

The Stevens Gap Area of Beavers Bend State Park is one of the main areas of the state park. This park is located on the west side of Broken Bow Lake right off of highway 259. Stevens Gap Area is on the shores of Broken Bow Lake and includes Lakeview Lodge and the Beavers Bend Marina. This area is heavily treed offering plenty of shade at the campsites. Both tent camping and RV camping are available.

The best spot for swimming is Stevens Gap, a scenic swim beach with picnic tables, campsites, a boat ramp, and nearby hiking trails. But use caution when letting children swim, as the water can be deep. Kids should wear life jackets and be supervised at all times. Stay near the shore as large boats frequent this lake too.

If you are looking to stay on the lake, the Stevens Gap Area is a great spot to do so. There are over 200 campsites in this area. You have easy access to the marina and boat ramps if you’d like to get out on the lake. A short distance to the south is the main area of Beavers Bend State Park which has canoe and kayak rentals, fly fishing, horseback riding, train rides, and more.

We cannot recommend this area enough if you are looking to enjoy Broken Bow Lake. Enjoy!
