Red Dirt Lodge is located high on the top of a Kiamichi Mountain in the Ouachita National Forest, just minutes north of the restaurants and stores in Hochatown, trout fishing and kayaking in Beavers Bend State Park and boating or bass fishing on Broken Bow Lake.
If you are searching for a large luxury cabin with quiet, secluded elegance and a mountain top view – Red Dirt Lodge is the perfect answer! Construction was completed in March 2011 on this 4,150 square foot, four bedroom – 4.5 bath log cabin home. There are also 2,000 square feet of covered deck space for enjoying the beauty of the wooded forest surroundings.

There are three different living areas in this expansive cabin with large flat screen TV / DVD players in each living area and all bedrooms. The open living – dining – kitchen area is surrounded by pine wood walls and very tall ceilings with cedar beams and saw cut oak floors. Enjoy the pine forest views through the 2-story all-glass front of the cabin. On cool nights, you will enjoy a fire in the wood-burning rock fireplace. Or pop some complimentary popcorn and enjoy watching a movie on the flat screen TV / DVD player in the living room. The kids have their own living area in the open loft with a comfy sofa bed and even a desk for your computer, with high speed wireless internet included. The oversized, rustic luxury game room offers a pool table, games, oversized flat screen TV / DVD player and fine leather furnishings.

The gourmet kitchen is a chef’s dream with all you will need to prepare full meals for your group of up to 12 people. The kitchen, as well as the rest of the cabin, is accented with granite countertops, rough sawn cabinets and copper sinks.

There are four bedrooms with four king beds – two downstairs and two upstairs. One of the upstairs bedrooms offers an extra twin trundle bed. The loft living area offers a queen sofa bed. In the four and one half baths, there are 4 tile showers and one large soaking tub.

There is a covered deck across the entire back side of the cabin, where you can soak in the bubbly hot tub and enjoy the scenery. Off the back deck, there is a walkway to a furnished cabana where you can enjoy your morning coffee and watch for deer and other forest creatures. Just off the back deck is a cooking deck, where you will find a gas grill campfire pit with seating for roasting marshmallows. The circle drive and ample parking space will make it easy for those with boat or ATV trailers.

With advanced notice, you can place your order for your kitchen to be stocked with your favorite grocery items and fresh flowers. Beavers Bend Adventures will schedule an in-cabin massage if requested.
