\nGet your people, and get here already. Because a pretty great way to make your way through McCurtain \u2013 and get a taste of the local flavor \u2013 is to hit up the local watering holes, spot by spot.\u00a0<\/span>
\nBecause we can actually say craft beer. And we make it \u2013 right here. And wineries? We have those, too. Not to mention a distillery, for those wanting something a little stronger. And you can always round out the day with a saloon trip or local dive.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What\u2019s the saying \u2013 liquor before beer?\u00a0<\/span>
\nHochatown Distilling Co. has you covered with hand-crafted artisan spirits like their popular straight bourbon whiskey and vodka. You can head over to <\/span>The Tasting Room<\/span><\/a>, located between their Gift Shop and the actual distillery.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Beer<\/span><\/h2>\n

Pale, stout, golden, amber. Whatever your hop style, you\u2019ll find it here.\u00a0<\/span>
\nEven a jalapeno ale (lookin\u2019 at you, Beavers Bend). Beavers Bend is home to two breweries \u2013\u00a0Mountain Fork Brewery and Beavers Bend Brewery \u2013 and several other beer-slinging watering holes. Even a place called <\/span>The Watering Hole at Hochatown<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span>

\nMountain Fork Brewery<\/span><\/a> makes 16 creative brews \u2013 with names like Sneaky Snake (a Belgian golden ale that lives up to its name with a deceptively smooth 9% ABV) and Gentleman Jackalope (a just-citrusy-enough IPA) \u2013 and an entertaining karaoke night to boot.\u00a0<\/span>
\nBeavers Bend Brewery<\/span><\/a> sits nestled up high over Hochatown, with a killer patio and places to enjoy cornhole with one of their staples like Big Foot Brown Ale or one of several seasonal rotations.\u00a0<\/span>
\nCan\u2019t decide? Get a flight at either brewery and expand your McCurtain beer knowledge.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Wine<\/span><\/h2>\n

Sure, they say to sip and spit. We won\u2019t tell if you don\u2019t.\u00a0<\/span>
\nFor a good wine time, head to Fish Tales, Girls Gone Wine, Knotted Rope or Vojai\u2019s. Or just hit them all up\u00a0\u2013\u00a0each offers a different vibe and atmosphere. And you\u2019ll certainly leave with a story or two. Small pours optional.<\/span>

\nSpecializing in muscadine wines, <\/span>Fish Tales Winery & Bistro<\/span><\/a> offers a tasting room and patio (and you can stroll through the vineyards if you want). <\/span>Girls Gone Wine<\/span><\/a> has made their name on quirky \u2013 this is where you want to go for unconventional. And if you really want to go all out, they have a party bus.<\/span>
\nKnotted Rope Winery<\/span><\/a> is newer to the Hochatown scene, and offers a wide selection of reds and whites \u2013 from the sweeter end to the driest dry \u2013 to enjoy on their large patio. <\/span>Vojai\u2019s Winery<\/span><\/a> in Broken Bow also offers a wide variety, in a large space that often features local live music and art.\u00a0<\/span>
