Devol, OK – After much consideration, Kiowa Casino Properties have made the decision to take safety measures for all involved.
Effective Thursday, March 19 at 11:59 PM, Kiowa Casino & Hotel, including retail and restaurants, will temporarily close services to the public until Wednesday, April 1, 2020.
In addition, our satellite properties Kiowa Casino Verden and Kiowa Casino Carnegie will be closing on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at 11:59 PM and reopen Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at 12 PM.
“While there have been no officially reported cases of COVID-19 in the counties where our casinos reside, and our team works vigilantly to provide clean and hygienic spaces,” says Jon Peters, COO of Kiowa Casino Properties, “We feel it is our duty to help slow the transmission of the virus as much as possible, for the health of all.”
Our safety and livelihood is our top priority which is why we have made the decision to continue to pay our wages and benefits during this interim.
In addition, all perishable food will be donated to local shelters and the Kiowa Tribe.
