Three Rivers Wildlife Management Area

The majority of the 250,000-acre Three Rivers WMA covers the northwest portion of McCurtain County, north of Highway 3/7 and west of Highway 259. It includes part of the Ouachita National Forest and a stretch of privately owned timberlands, and includes the Upper Mountain Fork, Glover and Eagle Fork rivers. The area is ideal for hunters, as it’s roamed by white-tailed deer, turkey, quail, dove, rabbit and other game. A Land Access Permit is required to enter the area, and although it contains no designated camping areas, primitive camping is allowed.

Trails throughout the area are perfect for hiking, mountain biking and limited ATV riding, and anglers can find sunfish and bass in area rivers, as well as small ponds peppered throughout the land full of bass, sunfish and channel catfish.
