DAVID CRAIG JEWELERS NOMINATES MISSION KIDS AND VETRI FOUNDATION
TO RECEIVE $10,000 GRANT FROM JEWELERS FOR CHILDREN

Public asked to vote for the local children’s charity and make them one of the top ten vote-getters.

Newtown, PA — Oct. 9, 2013 — David Craig Jewelers of Newtown, Pa., announced today it has nominated Mission Kids and Vetri Foundation for the Jewelers for Children (JFC) Local Grant Program. JFC, a non-profit organization founded by the jewelry industry in 1999 is dedicated to helping children in need. The recently launched Local Grant Program has set aside $100,000 to fund ten $10,000 grants for local children’s charities around the country. Jewelers were asked to nominate their favorite non-profit. Public voting on the Jewelers for Children Facebook page (www.facebook.com/JewelersforChildren) will determine the top ten vote-getters to receive the grants.

“We were pleased to hear about the program,” says David Craig Rotenberg of David Craig Jewelers. “It was such an easy way to help support the excellent work Mission Kids and Vetri Foundation do locally to improve the quality of life for the less fortunate youth of our community. Now, we’re trying to get the word out to the public to vote so Mission Kids and Vetri Foundation receive these generous grants.”

Voting is simple. Individuals wishing to participate can go to the Jewelers for Children Facebook page (www.facebook.com/JewelersforChildren) anytime between October 15 and October 30 and click on Mission Kids or Vetri Foundation from among the nominees; then encourage others to visit the page and vote, too.

“Pulling together, we can help provide some much needed funding for Mission Kids and Vetri Foundation,” David Rothenberg says. “One minute of your time, one vote, $10,000. What could be easier!”
