Collaborative Services

Your Child's Team

One of the primary reasons Mission Kids was founded was to reduce repeated interviews in child abuse investigations. That’s where our multidisciplinary team shines.

Mission Kids case coordinators work closely with detectives, prosecutors, caseworkers, and forensic interviewers to launch a collaborative response to abuse allegations. This includes building a multidisciplinary team (MDT) of every professional who is involved in a kid’s investigation.

Each member is committed to doing what’s right for our kids inside and beyond the courtroom, including careful construction of their case and connection to mental health services.

Team members work together throughout the entire investigative process to protect kids and to reduce additional trauma caused by repeated interviews.

The community built through our collaborative approach stays with our kids and their families throughout the entire criminal justice process.

Our collaborative approach puts your child's needs at the center of every decision.
