Mission Kids collaborates with our neighbors at Laurel House throughout the year to build healthy relationships & strong communities.
In May, we will build a visual display of our support for Laurel House by creating a sculpture out of canned goods that will be donated to the domestic violence agency.
Laurel House will host a one-of-a-kind exhibition, celebrating healthy and strong relationships within our communities. Mission Kids will join a diverse group of organizations throughout Montgomery County who will be building donations for Laurel House into “Works of heART.” The sculpture will be on display at the King of Prussia Mall from May 17-31st in the Bloomingdale’s Courtyard. The community is invited to view the sculptures, learn more about each participating organization, and vote for their favorite “Works of heART” throughout the month of May.
Mission Kids’ staff plans to create a display that will raise awareness about the relationship between child abuse and domestic violence, and how our agencies are collaborating to better support our community.

About our Partnership
Mission Kids utilizes Laurel House as a preferred provider when victims of domestic abuse are identified in the course of our investigations. Laurel House offers an array of supportive programs and services to those who are impacted by domestic violence. Laurel House also provides training to thousands of students, medical professional, law enforcement officers and community members. Although the programs and services have expanded and changed over the years, their vision of ending domestic violence in each life, home, and community remains as steadfast as ever. We fully support efforts to keep families safe from abuse and understand the need for a community wide effort.
