Oklahoma City · Victim Services
Where victims can find their voice.
Dragonfly is Oklahoma’s only state-certified nonprofit dedicated exclusively to human trafficking victim services. We stand with survivors from crisis to recovery without any conditions, cost, or end date.
Home / About
Founded on what wasn’t there.
Human trafficking has never been an abstract problem in Oklahoma. It happens in Oklahoma City neighborhoods, in rural communities across the state, and often within families — hidden in plain sight, misidentified, and chronically underserved.
When the co-founders looked at Oklahoma’s response to trafficking victims in 2016, they found a serious gap: no nonprofit in central Oklahoma was certified to provide the specialized, trauma-informed care this population requires. Survivors were falling through the cracks.
Dragonfly was founded to close that gap. Launched in March 2016 and certified by the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office later that year, it became the only organization in central Oklahoma dedicated exclusively to human trafficking victim services — not as one program among many, but as the entire mission. From the beginning, the model was built around what survivors actually need: voluntary, free, trauma-informed care that meets people where they are and stays with them as long as they need it.
Nearly a decade later, that founding commitment still shapes everything Dragonfly does. Hundreds of victims and their families are served annually. The need continues to grow. So does Dragonfly’s capacity to meet it.

Our Programs
Specialized programming, built around real need.
Human Trafficking Victim Services
Our core program. A non-residential, home-like environment where victims access specialized case management, trauma-focused therapy, medical and legal advocacy, and more without moving in, moving on, or checking a box to qualify.
24-Hour Human Trafficking Helpline
One call, any hour. Our helpline is answered by trained advocates around the clock for victims in crisis, concerned family members, and service providers who need to connect someone to care. Judgment-free and completely confidential.
Housing Assistance Program
Stable housing changes everything. Through our scattered-site housing model we connect victims with independent housing throughout OKC, plus deposit, rental, and utility assistance.

Our Approach
The why behind the work we do.
Dragonfly isn’t structured like most nonprofits. Every decision we make, from space to care, hours, and process was made with the needs of victims in mind.
Dragonfly is not a shelter.
That’s not a limitation, it’s a decision. What we’ve built instead is a Crisis Center designed to feel like a living room: warm, accessible, and yours to use on your terms. You don’t move in. You don’t check out. You come when you need us, and we’re here.
Every person here is the author of their own recovery.
Our team follows your lead, not a checklist, not a program timeline, not an outcome someone else decided for you. We’re trained in trauma-focused approaches because healing from trafficking isn’t linear, and the person who’s lived it understands what they need next.
Our helpline is answered 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
Human trafficking doesn’t have business hours, so neither do we. Whether you’re a victim reaching out for the first time, a family member in search of help, or a provider trying to connect a client to services, we always answer the call.
