A Typical Day at Puppy Paws Daycare
Structured Day, Plenty of Play
The fun starts the minute your dog checks in for dog daycare at our Edmond or NW Oklahoma City locations.
They’ll get to play inside or outside, make new friends, exercise their minds and bodies, and end the day with a massage that guarantees they leave feeling safe and cared for as we do a quick wellness check.
Drop Off
The tail wags start the moment they stroll through our doors. We get them checked in, say hello the Puppy Paws way, and ease them into their playgroup so they feel comfortable, seen, and ready for a day of fun.
Morning
Once they’re settled, it’s time to play. Dogs head into our indoor or outdoor play areas for group play, games, toys, and plenty of enrichment to get their minds and bodies moving. In between the fun, we pause for a gentle massage and wellness check—just to make sure every pup is feeling their best.
Afternoon
The fun keeps rolling with more playtime, socializing, and enrichment in our cage-free spaces. Staff continue observing each dog’s behavior and comfort levels, and pups get additional massages throughout the afternoon to keep them relaxed, happy, and cared for.
Pickup
As the day winds down, we get everyone fluffed, massaged, and ready to head home. You’ll pick up a pup who played hard, made friends, stayed active, and got plenty of love—exactly the way it should be.

What’s included in an overnight boarding stay?
Boarding includes all-day daycare, access to indoor and outdoor playrooms, and up to 7 hours of group play per day.
What types of boarding rooms are available?
Room types include Standard (4×4), Standard Plus (5×4), Luxury (4×6), and Palace (5×8), each sized for different dog needs and family sizes.
What are the pick-up and drop-off hours for boarding?
Boarding follows lobby hours:
Mon–Fri: 7 AM–7 PM; Sat–Sun & Holidays: 8–10 AM and 4–7 PM.
Are early drop-off or late pick-up options available?
Yes. Early drop-off and late pick-up are available for an additional charge and must be scheduled in advance.
What vaccines are required for boarding?
Dogs must have Distemper, Rabies, Parvovirus, and Bordetella (6-month version), given at least 7 days before the stay.
Do dogs need to be spayed or neutered to board?
Yes. Dogs must be spayed or neutered by 1 year of age.
What should owners bring for boarding?
Owners should bring their dog’s regular food with clear portion instructions. Beds may be brought from home. Treats are allowed; rawhides are not.
Can my dog skip group play during boarding?
Yes. Owners may choose no group play, and staff adjust based on preference and behavior.
What if my dog isn’t comfortable in the social environment?
If a dog is determined during the Temperament Test to not be a good fit for social play, the owner is not charged for the evaluation.
