What are Puppy Paws daycare hours?
Daycare is offered seven days a week, following standard lobby hours:
Mon–Fri: 7 AM–7 PM; Sat–Sun & Holidays: 8–10 AM and 4–7 PM.
Do I need an appointment for daycare?
Yes. Daycare is by appointment, and guests are asked to schedule in advance.
Is daycare cage-free?
Yes. Daycare is fully cage-free and uses indoor and outdoor play areas with pet turf flooring.
What activities do dogs do during daycare?
Dogs enjoy group play and enrichment activities such as fitness, play, games, and toys.
How much playtime do daycare dogs get?
Dogs may have up to 7 hours of group play per day when participating in daycare or during boarding stays.
Do you evaluate dogs before daycare?
Yes. New guests complete a Temperament Test Evaluation to determine safe and appropriate playgroup placement.
What vaccines are required for daycare?
Dogs must have:
- Distemper
- Rabies
- Parvovirus
- 6-month Bordetella vaccine
All vaccines must be given at least 7 days before their stay.
Do dogs need to be spayed or neutered?
Yes. All daycare dogs must be spayed or neutered by 1 year of age.
Do dogs need flea and tick prevention?
Yes. Flea and tick prevention is required for daycare participation.
Can I bring food for my dog’s daycare day?
Yes. Bringing food is optional. If provided, it must be in a secure container with clear portion instructions.
Treats are allowed; rawhides are not.
What should my dog arrive with?
Dogs must arrive on a leash with a collar.
Do daycare dogs get rest or wellness checks?
Yes. Staff follow an Observe–Play–Massage approach, including three massages per day used as wellness checks.
Can my dog skip group play?
Yes. Owners may request no group play, and staff adjust based on preference and behavior.
What happens if my dog isn’t a good fit for daycare?
If a dog isn’t suited for the social play environment during the evaluation, the owner is not charged for the test.
